Assembly & Testing

Advantage Blow Mouldings has the in-house capability to assemble and test your products.

Assembly work may involve combining plastic components manufactured using different production technologies, such as blow moulded and injection moulded parts.  It may also involve incorporating ‘free issue’ or outsourced items such as electrical conductors and components, metal components and fasteners etc. We can source and procure items such as liquid silicon rubber/rubber mouldings, metal pressings & machined parts and fabricated items on your behalf.

Product testing can involve leak decay testing (for vessels that need to be fully sealed), electrical testing, functionality & cycle testing, environmental testing (including vibration resistance), and other specialist activities as required.  We can also develop jigs, gauges & fixtures designed to ensure that components and assemblies fall within acceptable tolerances.
